"Irregular" was written about a young woman who had never had a boyfriend, and who experienced an accident when she was a baby which had effected her mental capacity for the rest of her life. She was the sweetest and most innocent girl I'd ever known. She loved animals, and she loved Jesus. After a long time in trying to convince her to see me on a daytime date, she accepted. She was so nervous about the prospect of being in a relationship, the only words I still remembered from her that day were: "Let's keep it irregular". "Irregular" was written the next day. She was the first girl that turned me into a child again, after seeing much ugliness in the world and in myself. After meeting her, I saw beauty, innocence and romance in the clouds, in the stars and in everyday living after many years of a melancholy existence.

Melodic rock song with sweet sounding guitar riffs layered over keys and a strong rhythm section.
